Monster Attack Network gets name-checked in Marc Mason's Best of 2007:
"No book this year gave me a bigger nerdgasm than Marc Bernadin and Adam Freeman’s MONSTER ATTACK NETWORK (AiT/PlanetLar). An island where giant monsters attack all the time? Bitchin’! A special police force dedicated to diverting the monsters and rebuilding in their wake? Fuggin’A! That’s totally what I wanted to be when I grew up. I’m not one to pant like a dog for sequels in any medium, but this book? It needs one. Right. Fucking. Now."
A Catch-22 type dilemma has struck AiT/Planet Lar publisher Larry Young in regards to "news on the website." Company employees have noticed that whenever there are AiT happenings that could legitimately be reported on the website (or, indeed, elsewhere) as news, AiT is usually too busy with said haps to update the website. In addition, whenever AiT employees, members, or, even, associated Like-Minded Individuals might have some spare time to chip in and use to update the website, there is usually, as one member put it: "nothing going on." New girlfriends, video games, crying infants, good Scotch, or TiVo'd episodes of AIRLINE UK are usually involved. As a direct result of this problem AiT department heads may resort to manufacturing news stories about themselves to bolster news items in less busy times. Please be advised.
