The Black Diamond #5
gets read by Greg Burgas: "I will say that Young has done a good job in this series switching back and forth from crazy action to plot and character development,
and after last issue, which ended with our hero’s car on top of a train, this issue focuses on how he’s going to continue now that his car is no longer in good shape to drive, as well as bringing the subplot of the stolen bag to a close in a humorous yet reasonable way. Dr. Don gets a new ride, everyone takes off again, and the army (as well as Dr. Don’s wife, who’s still being held hostage) move into position for next issue’s grand finale." Greg asks some questions about the flaming shirt that I answer over at the link.
is still hanging in there with it: "But the romantic nature of the story (in the sense that it had a sense of adventure and importance) was solid and the lead has become more magnetic and charismatic, which is a good thing."
...and it's all tied up by Christmas.
"In a Nov. 13 story, The Associated Press incorrectly reported that Paris Hilton was praised by conservationists for highlighting the problem of binge-drinking elephants in northeastern India.
Lori Berk, a publicist for Hilton, said she never made any comments about helping drunken elephants in India."
