o, comic book man
few can know that you just mean

Chris Allen's Publisher Report Card features a look at our company, as part of his excellent column "Breakdowns" over on Kevin Smith's Movie Poop Shoot
site. Aw, I could quibble a bit with a few things (like his contention that this daily update is somehow a "blog," when most comics blogs I've read have no point other than to espouse reviews and commentary, and our use of Blogger here is just an efficient way for me to update the site without learning html... or
that it's somehow a bad thing to be constantly flogging our wares... or
that sometimes "putting out something cool that has nothing to say" doesn't serve an audience that might want some bang-bang out of their comics instead of limiting ourselves to TOMES of MEANING and IMPORT), but on the whole I wouldn't mind seeing some more "publisher report cards" from folks with as an insightful eye and as fine a writing ability as Chris. Which, you know, leaves out most comics bloggers.
DEMO #5 is in shops on March 17th, the fifth anniversary of ASTRONAUTS IN TROUBLE: LIVE FROM THE MOON #1's first appearance in stores; SCURVY DOGS #2 reprint is available March 24th, as well as the second edition of SWITCHBLADE HONEY. Ryan's cranking on HENCH lettering, and I'm scanning pages from SEAL TEAM SEVEN, which is a working title for one of our winter books.
MAKING COMICS BETTER is awesome.
