I don't ordinarily update the home page here on weekends or holidays because I like to keep it about company business, and I try not to do company business on weekends or holidays if I can help it.
But my good friend Adam Beechen (he of the Jackie Chan Adventures
and the Teen Titans Go!
and, more importantly, of the upcoming Hench
and the Going, Going, Gone
graphic novels from us) sent me over this Flash animation game of
the abominable snowman whacking a penguin:
with the message: "Time for a little winter ball. The best score I've heard is 588.8. My personal best is 587.1, 490 on the fly."
Obviously, this is going to impact my creativity! Best I've got is 576.2, when I finally figured out the penguin could scrape along the ground, so Adam still has me on that one, but I hit 490 POINT EIGHT on the fly so unless the East Germans come up with some sort of Steroid Yeti, I'm ahead in the air.
sets assembled and shipped out today...
#4 has been sent to our printer, Quebecor, and if all goes well, should be in-shops February 11.
Got a carton of Demo
#3s headed our way, and if you're in the San Francisco Bay Area and haven't hit a Brian Wood Month '04
event yet, Bri and I will be at James Sime's shop Isotope: the comic book lounge
pretty much all day tomorrow:
Brian Wood Month Event - Demo 3 Release Party
All these fun events would be nothing if it wasn't for the comics, baby! Brian Wood and Becky Cloonan's DEMO was recently recognized by The Fourth Rail as "Best First Issue of 2003" and the Isotope is bringing out DEMO #3 in style!
