Now, ordinarily, I don't send people to my forum, because it's a little retreat from the hub and the bub on the rest of the Internet. But Atom's offer is just too good to not tell folks about. LOVE IT! Tom Spurgeon of The Comics Journal spends ten pages in a comprehensive survey of the AiT/Planet Lar line current to last July. My fave: "If one is to believe the online rhetoric surrounding Young, spending time near the publisher would be roughly equivalent to joining a comic-book fraternity, where comics chat is interspersed with talk of fine liquors to be consumed and aggressively macho movies to be celebrated. Women are welcome, and as much as they show themselves to be good-hearted dames with a sense of humor, they are very nearly worshipped. It's an odd subset of comic-book culture, but one that might appeal to a wider range of people than many of the tight-knit, specific-interest groups that make up comics' rainbow of dysfunction. (emphasis mine)"

HATE IT! I am just filled with the milk of human kindness. C'mon! Ten pages in TCJ! How can I have hate for anything?

LOVE IT! Bill Sherman's only issue with Badlands is that it's under the "historical fiction" section of our website. That's a home run, folks!

HATE IT! Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of eggplant parmesan, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I actually hate it.
